Facebook Project Manager, Privacy and Data Policy in Washington, District Of Columbia

A successful Project Manager will be organized, strong in project management, able to shift seamlessly between strategic counsel and smaller daily tasks, and strong in drafting communications. You should be a team player and eager to work in a fast-paced, high expectations environment, and passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve.
This is a full-time position based in either Washington D.C. or Menlo Park, reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, Policy.
Work across teams to prepare briefs for external and internal engagements, and coordinate follow-ups
Ensure progress on priority team work streams, advise on the right strategy, deliverables, etc.
Support daily operations and internal communications about team operations and priorities
Ensure coordination and integration of Privacy & Data Use policy issues with longer-term global public policy and company objectives
Work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, History, or similar field
3+ years of experience in public policy or similar field
Experience in drafting both short and long-form communications
Advanced Degree, MBA, or Law Degree
Experience in consulting, project management or research/analytics
Strong communication skills
Strong project management and decision-making skills
Ability to juggle a range of tasks under tight timelines
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels, both inside and outside of Facebook
Ability to shift priorities quickly and act proactively
Experience working directly with management
